Our story

We did the reading first.

Oratide started with a pile of supplement labels that didn't add up, and a question we couldn't shake.

Chapter one

Boring on purpose.

Oratide started with something my wife and I kept noticing on supplement labels. Our background in medicine and nutrition made it hard to ignore: panels showing 2,500% of something with no reason why, proprietary blends that hide the amounts, and promises about this and promises about that.

So we asked one question: why can't an ingredients list just be boring?

Before we made anything, we spent months reading how the United States actually regulates dietary supplements. What legally counts as an ingredient. What a company is allowed to say. Where the line sits between a supplement and a drug. We did the reading first so we'd do it right, and it changed what we built.

Chapter two

Why we made Signal.

People kept asking us about GLP-1 supplements. The best-known one costs $148 a bottle, and its own refund policy says it won't take a return or give a refund once you've ordered.†

We thought the same amount of the same kind of ingredient deserved a fairer deal. So Signal follows the rules we set for everything else: one ingredient with its amount printed on the front, a price you can keep paying, and 60 days to decide, with your money back even on an empty bottle.

What we won't do is borrow someone else's results. We haven't run a clinical trial on Signal, so you won't see a pounds-lost number from us. When we have evidence of our own, we'll publish it in full, footnotes and all.

What we hold ourselves to

Rules we wrote first.

These aren't slogans. They decide what goes on the label, what goes on this site, and what we say when you email us.
